Storhaug Welsh Stutteri


		litt om oss Storhaug Welsh-stutteri ligg midt i Røldal på ein liten gard. Etter kvart har vi leigd fleire andre gardar for å få nok grovfor og beite til eit stigande tal welshponniar/cob. Vår første Welsh Cob kjøpte vi for 10 år sidan, og vi likte så godt denne rasen at det vart flytting og nybygging for å få plass til alle. Det har blitt mange turar i inn-og utland i samband med denne lidenskapen, og ikkje minst treffer ein så mange hyggelege folk med samme interessa på slike turar. Vi, det er Hilde (ho mor, som er mest "hekta på welsh"), Nils Oddvar og våre fire barn: Yngvild, Ida, Eline og Tarjei. Tre kattar, to kaniner, to undulatar og ein hund er også med i familien.		about us Storhaug Welsh Stud lies in the center of Røldal, on a small farm. As time has gone by, we`ve rented more land in order to obtain enough hay and grazing land for a growing number of Welsh Ponies and Cobs. We bought our first Welsh Cob 10 years ago, and we loved this breed so much that a house move and newbuilding were necessary in order to make room for them all. The passion for Welsh Ponies and Cobs has led to a lot of trips at home and abroad, and it is great to meet so many friendly people who share the same interest. "We" means our family, which consists of Hilde (Mum, who is "hooked on Welsh"), Nils Oddvar and our four children; Yngvild, Ida, Eline and Tarjei. Three cats, two rabbits, two budgies and one dog are also part of the family.
